Rocawear teams up with Susan G. Komen to Help African American Women

RocaWearAs Breast Cancer Awareness month winds down, one of the leading urban wear brands is selling clothes for a cause. Jay-Z’s Rocawear clothing line is teaming up with ‘Susan G. Komen For The Cure’ to raise money for breast cancer research.

The clothing line is releasing special edition polos for the cause called the ‘Roc For The Cause’ polo. Rocawear will donate 5% of sales from October 1 through December 31, 2009 to the breast cancer organization. The minimum guaranteed donation from the brand however is $20,000. The proceeds will specifically benefit the ‘Susan G. Komen For The Cure, Circle of Promise’ campaign which is targeted towards African American women.  

The Roc for the Cure Polo is cotton and spandex with a five snap closure and ruching at bust. The polo will be available in black and white, each with a pink detail, and can be purchased for $44 at Macy’s and Rocawear.com.
