Travel to DC

Families love D.C., and it’s a city to visit with kids over and over again. Almost every school-age child is studying some aspect of American history.

Whether it’s the founding fathers in the first grade or World War II in the fifth and visiting the nation’s capital brings that history alive. 

They are thrilled when they connect a real person, place or artifact with something they’ve learned in class.
